The retrofits and energy-saving devices that were installed on the ship are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>New bulbous bow<\/li>\n<li>New and lighter propeller<\/li>\n<li>Hub vortex absorbed fins (HVAF)<\/li>\n<li>Pre-shrouded vanes (PSV)<\/li>\n<li>Silicone coating of the ship\u2019s underwater parts<\/li>\n<li>LED lights<\/li>\n<li>Auto pilot upgrade with advanced ecology control<\/li>\n<li>Jacket pre-heater auto control<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-102207 size-full aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/advantage.vn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/Synergy-Antwerp-e1712114062886.png\" alt=\"Synergy-Antwerp\" width=\"600\" height=\"424\" srcset=\"https:\/\/advantage.vn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/Synergy-Antwerp-e1712114062886.png 600w, https:\/\/advantage.vn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/Synergy-Antwerp-e1712114062886-300x212.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Aristides Pittas, chairman and CEO of Euroseas, commented: &#8220;The charter rate represents a strong increase compared to last done, indicating charterer\u2019s interest in more modern, energy-efficient vessels; it is expected to contribute about US$6.5 million of EBITDA over the minimum contracted period and increases our 2024 charter coverage to about 80%.
